Welcome to Boxmoor Beat
We run
regular Modern Jive sessions in Hemel Hempstead.On Mondays - Boxmoor Beat is at the Boxmoor Playhouse, 72 St Johns Road, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1NP.
You can come along to any of our sessions without booking. Doors open at 8 pm and admission is £6. You don't need to bring a partner, as everyone joins in together.
Modern Jive is a great partner dance that's easy to learn and fun to do. It's a wonderful way of socialising and keeping fit. You can come along and join us any night without booking. You don't need any special experience and you don't need to bring a partner. Whether you're a beginner or a regular dancer, we're sure you'll enjoy the friendly club atmosphere at Boxmoor Beat.

Monday 23 January - At Boxmoor Playhouse. Following a
week away, we return to the Playhouse for our regular Monday session. Doors open at 8pm for a fun evening
of classes and social dancing.
Saturday 25 February - Jiving At The Queens. Our sensational Saturday freestyle is coming up soon. We've got some great music for dancing and a wonderful wooden dancefloor. There's parking right outside and free tea, coffee and buns to round off the evening. It's at The Adeyfield Community Centre, The Queens Square, HP2 4EW from 8pm to 11:30. Admission is £8.
Other JATQ dates for 2012 are 21 April, 23 June, 15 September and 17 November.
Recent events.
We had a great time at the Motown themed Christmas party. Lots of dancers wore their 60s and 70s gear and
had fun dancing to hits from the period.Back in November, our tenth anniversary Rock & Roll Party was a great success. Well done to everyone who supported the event which raised £750 for Shopmobility in Hemel Hempstead. Check out the photos here.
