CHRISTMAS BAND NIGHT Monday 20th December 2004 Put this date in your diary. Details will follow in the next newsletter. |
BEGINNERS' WORKSHOP We will be running a modern jive workshop for new members on Sunday 5th September. The workshop will take place at the Boxmoor Playhouse from 1.30pm to 5.30pm and will cost £20 per person. Attending a 4 hour workshop gives you the opportunity to learn new moves, improve your technique, pick up style tips and is a great confidence booster. Workshops are also good fun and enable you to get to know other members. So if you haven't put your name down yet, now's the time to do it! Ask for more information at the desk. ********* CHARITY NIGHT Monday 1st November To mark the 3rd anniversary of Boxmoor Beat we will be donating all proceeds from the evening to two local charities. The HOSPICE OF ST FRANCIS in Berkhamsted who care for cancer sufferers, and BLISS who support families of premature babies. The event was very well supported last year and this year we really want to surpass last year's donation and hope to raise as much as we possibly can.
