SWING DANCING in BOXMOOR!

Following the success of the Swing night last year, we are delighted to announce that we have arranged a beginner's Swing course with Joseph &Trisha. It will run for six weeks, starting on the Tuesday 2nd March in the Parish Centre. Further details to follow but in the mean time, please let us know if you are interested in attending. Postponed. We need more people.

It will be hard to beat our Christmas Ball with the Jive Cats; as expected the band were excellent. Dress in your Sunday (Monday!) best was definitely the order of the evening with everyone looking cool and sophisticated (cool until the Jive Cats hit the stage that is!!). Can we top December 2003 in 2004 - watch this space!

WARMWELL PARTY WEEKENDER

It only seems like we were at Warmwell a couple of weeks ago, nevertheless we are heading for yet another Party Weekender in March. All of the Boxmoor Beat committee, with the usual enthusiastic club members, will be there. The Boxmoor Beat "follow on" party Saturday night is now a permanent fixture! Bookings for March 2004 are being taken - and going fast! Check out availability in the prebooked club chalets, or see the brochures at the desk. Live bands provide the music for freestyle and are always excellent.

THE EARL JACKSON BAND

As Warmwell regulars are aware, The Earl Jackson Band take centre stage. They put on a fantastic show at Boxmoor last year. so Boxmoor Beat have invited them back on 11th June 2004! We are holding this event at the DeHavilland Sports & Social Club, Hatfield. The committee and some club members attended a recent event and can confirm what a super venue it is! Tickets on sale soon.
