'WOODSTOCK' Charity Night

This was yet another fantastic event enhanced by club members' enthusiastic support and impressive period dress! Including a donation by "the committee", we raised £500 to be split between the following charities nominated by members:

• Hospice of St Francis, Berkhamstead
• The Mount Vernon Scanner Appeal

Presentation will be on Monday 8th December.

WARMWELL PARTY WEEKENDER

Boxmoor Beat must have been the biggest group at Warmwell including all of the committee!! It was good to see so many of you there, especially those who found their way to the Boxmoor Beat "follow on" party Saturday night! Bookings for March 2004 now being taken - and going fast! All the bands were excellent, especially Earl Jackson, so Boxmoor Beat have invited them back on 11th June 2004! We are holding this event at the De Havilland Sports & Social Club, Hatfield, a larger venue, (and it doesn't have a sound limiter!)

SWING DANCING

Following the success of the swing night we anticipate arranging a six-week beginners swing class with Joseph & Trisha, Wednesday evenings at Boxmoor Playhouse. Details very soon.

The committee, Val, Sue, Karen, Colin, Bob & Robert, wish a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year to all our club members, with special thanks to our crew dancers Danielle & Mike.
