This is what you've all been waiting for, a freestyle dance night! The very first one will be on Friday 29th November in the Boxmoor Playhouse with live music supplied by 'Band in Hand'.

Tickets need to be purchased in advance and will only cost £6. If any are left on the night they will be available on the door for the higher price of £7.

Invite your friends along; everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the music, including those who don't dance. We want a good crowd 'dressed to impress' to make this an evening to remember.

1st ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

We would like to thank everyone who supported our charity evening on Monday 4th November, and especially for all your kind contributions.

We are very pleased to announce that we raised £480 - Well done everybody!

Proceeds from the evening will be divided between:

• Holidays for Local Disabled and
• Woodfield School for children with learning difficulties.

At the dance night on Monday 18 November we will present a cheque to representatives of each organisation.

30+ dancers from Boxmoor Beat have just returned from a fantastic dance weekend down at Warmwell in Dorset. The great bands, fun lessons and endless dancing combine to make the Party Weekender a great way to enjoy time with your friends. So maybe now is the time to think ahead and book up for the next weekend which takes place from the 28th - 31st March 2003. Flyers are available at the desk.

WORKSHOPS 2003

We plan to run further workshops in the New Year and are currently considering 'Drops and Seducers', 'Style' and 'Improvers'. Let us know which of these you would be of interest to you.
