BPM Counter

This little on-screen program lets you measure the tempo of music in beats per minute. Just click your mouse or hit any key in time with the beat and the display will show you the BPM value.

Ours is one of the best programs around for this job. (We adapted another program to add the features we needed). It measures the average tempo over the last 16 beats, so it displays a fairly steady value without the wild fluctuations you would otherwise get. Also, if you make a mistake, just keep on clicking until the new data replaces the old (16 more clicks). This means you don't have to start off accurately every time. You can just click away until you get into the rhythm of the music. Enjoy!
